The Past Simple Tense

We use the past simple tense to narrate actions happened in the past or to narrate stories .

Ex. 1- I went to the zoo yesterday.

2-I met my friend Adel last week.

3-I saw amonkey last Friday.

Negation

1-I didn't go to school yesterday

2-We didn't see any monkeys last friday
